Artificial Grass & Hardscaping in Sun Lakes, AZ

Active adult living in Sun Lakes deserves a yard that matches your lifestyle.

Sun Lakes is a gem in the southeastern Valley, an active adult community adjacent to Chandler with its own distinct identity, golf courses, and strong sense of community. We’ve done a meaningful number of installations in Sun Lakes over the years, and the residents here are among our most engaged clients. They know their properties, they have high standards, and they want an outdoor space that reflects that.

The Sun Lakes community atmosphere means our work here spreads quickly through word of mouth. If a neighbor has recently had us in, you’ve probably already heard about the experience. We take that responsibility seriously and we’ve maintained our reputation in Sun Lakes by doing exactly what we say we’ll do, every time.

Year-Round Beauty With Zero Maintenance

Sun Lakes residents who switch to artificial turf almost universally report the same reaction within the first few months: they don’t miss natural grass at all. The yard looks better, it’s always green, and the mental load of maintaining it simply disappears. No watering schedule, no mowing calendar, no concern about whether the irrigation heads are working properly. It just looks great.

We offer free in-home consultations throughout Sun Lakes and the Chandler active adult corridor. Most installations are completed in a single day. Financing available with no money down.

Common Questions

FAQs: Artificial Grass in Sun Lakes, AZ

Sun Lakes properties are served by Chandler Water, which offers a rebate of approximately $1.50 per square foot up to $2,000. Artificial turf is eligible on a case-by-case basis, with a 1,000 square foot cap per property. If your planned turf installation exceeds 1,000 square feet, work through the rebate program for the first 1,000 square feet and plan the rest of the project as standard. Pre-approval from Chandler Water is required before removing any grass. (Source: City of Chandler Water Conservation (serving Sun Lakes); verify current terms and eligibility before applying.)

Sun Lakes is divided into five country club associations (Cottonwood, Palo Verde, Ironwood, Oakwood, and Sun Lakes Country Club), each with its own governing documents and ARC process. A formalized Artificial Turf Permit Request Package is standard procedure across these associations, which means the process is well-established and predictable. The package typically includes product specifications, design plans, and applicant information. We have completed installs across Sun Lakes' associations and know each one's specific requirements. Yes, Sun Lakes' 55-plus active adult population and the country club culture of its five associations make it an excellent putting green market. Retired golfers looking to maintain their short game at home are among our best customers, and Sun Lakes' community character reinforces the lifestyle fit. Backyard putting greens process readily through the ARC, particularly in communities where golf is a primary recreational activity.

Sun Lakes is an unincorporated community served by Chandler Water but outside Chandler's municipal jurisdiction. Maricopa County does not require a building permit for standard residential artificial turf installation. The Artificial Turf Permit Request Package referenced in the ARC process is a community document, not a municipal permit. It's administered by the country club associations, not any government body. Sun Lakes buyers prioritize quality, longevity, and appearance. This is a 55-plus community where homeowners view artificial turf as a permanent investment in their property, not a temporary solution. We recommend product lines with 15-year or longer warranties, natural-looking blade variation, and heat-mitigation infill appropriate for Arizona summers. Many Sun Lakes homeowners maintain immaculate yards now and want the artificial turf result to match or exceed the appearance of the Bermuda grass they're replacing.

"AJ at Arizona Luxury Lawns is outstanding. He’s professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He doesn’t try to sell you something that you don’t need or want. He’s in contact with you during the whole process. The crew is amazing, they do a great job, they held up a tarp so no dirt or debris would get in the pool and before they left everything was picked up and clean. The crew worked fast and did a fantastic job. The lawn looks great. I would highly recommend Arizona Luxury Lawns. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks AJ and Crew."
